It is said, knowledge is power. Which basically means even a little bit of knowledge can do wonders.

Is it worth sharing knowledge, does it make sense teaching others or training others.

Being into a lot of things I always considered teaching anyone who requested me for help. I never thought that by teaching or sharing a little of the knowledge that I have would make me small.

If anyone approached me saying please can you teach me how this is done I always said, yes.

We study together; there are children who don’t have the same grasping power like we do. Helping them learn or understand what is taught in the class is a kind act.

Same goes with professional life; there could be trainees or those that do not know the work, showing them how it is done will not make us small or big.

However, why did I ask or say knowledge is worth sharing or not?

Many a time, at work place when we teach or train others, they try superseding us. This also leads to some backstabbers who initially are downy-spoken, kind hearted when they want to learn or know something and once they have gained the knowledge and are capable to handle the work themselves they think they are professionals and starting sitting on your head.

That’s the reason why every person hesitates to share their knowledge.

As humans we must be thankful for everything we get from others be it a thing or knowledge. Just because we learn the art of doing something better than the person who taught it to us, doesn’t mean we have to put them in trouble.

Gaining a level of knowledge must increase the capacity of what you know not the capacity of your pride.

The knowledge you gain is to benefit you, not to put others life into a mess.

So the next time you gain knowledge, make use of it respectfully. Don’t be a sign of disgrace to the person who gave you knowledge.

Be thankful and helpful, to the person who taught you something because they showed you something which would or might be a threat to their daily earning.

Let them know that you owe them respect for what they have taught you.
